My name is Zach Graupner and this is my fifth year at Plano Elementary. This is my first year teaching 2nd grade, but I am ready for something new and exciting. I am very excited to be working with a new group of kids this year. It is going to be a bit more of a challenge because last year I came into the year knowing all the childrens names and this year I will have to memorize a 100 more. It will take some time but I will get there. This summer, my first son, Brooks was born. We have loved every minute that we have spent with him. He does something new everyday. We also have a chocolate lab named Topper who is 3 years old. I was previously at Briarwood Elementary and taught 6th grade math and geography. I received my Bachelor’s degree from Western Kentucky University in 2011 and my Masters from the University of the Cumberlands in May. I am originally from Newburgh, Indiana but have lived in Bowling Green for 10 years now. I enjoy doing anything outside, sports, and spending time with my family and friends. I also like to wear crazy socks. This just started a couple years ago and I already have probably 50 pairs of them. I look forward to working with each one of your children and learning about each one of them. Feel free to contact me by phone or email if you have any questions or concerns. I am looking forward to another great year at Plano and teaching in the 2nd grade!
