Welcome to 4th grade!
Hello, my name is Alicia Napier Meador. I am very excited and blessed to be a member of the Plano team. This will be my ninth year at Plano and my fifth year of teaching 4th grade! I previously taught 3rd grade for four years. I am from Scottsville, Kentucky and graduated from Allen County Scottsville High School in 2007. In May of 2011, I graduated from Western Kentucky University where I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education. I earned my Master's degree from Western Kentucky University in Library Media Education with a technology endorsement, in December of 2014. In December of 2018, I became a National Board Certified Teacher. In my spare time, I enjoy exercising, reading, and traveling. I feel that it is always important to keep your saw sharpened! I am married to a wonderful and supportive man, Brian. We have two-year-old, Deacon and a one-year-old daughter, Merritt!
In my classroom, I promote respect, hard work, and safety. I work hard to build a classroom community that values teamwork and leadership. Plano is a place where I hope you and your child feel like you’re part of a winning team.
