My name is Jada Roy and I am the art teacher for both Plano and Natcher Elementary, this is my 5th year.  I am so excited to be in the classroom getting the opportunity to teach your child about art. My husband and I have been together 18 years and married 15.  I am from Russell County, Kentucky and moved to Bowling Green in 2003 to pursue my degree at WKU and graduated in 2010.  I have two children, Madison is in 10th grade at WEHS and Maddox is in 6th at Plano.  I have worked as an instructional assistant in special education for 3 years at Warren East Middle School and 3 years at Greenwood High School before becoming an art teacher.  

      In the classroom I hope to inspire your child and my goal is for them to leave my room knowing more about the fundamentals of art but also feeling confident in themselves and their work.  My classroom will be a safe and fun enviornment where your child will have the opportunity to grow as an artist as well as a leader in their own lives.  If you ever have any questions please feel free to email or call and I would be happy to work with you to help your child become sucessful in my classroom.
