Speech Language Pathologists work with people who cannot produce speech sounds or have difficulty producing them clearly; those with speech rhythm and fluency problems such as stuttering; people with voice disorders, such as inappropriate pitch or harsh voice and those with problems understanding and producing language. 

As a Speech Therapist, I complete screenings, evaluations and provide direct therapy intervention to students who demonstrate difficulty in any of the above areas. I may complete a screening and/or evaluation to determine if this is adversely impacting their educational performance. 

Students enrolled in speech therapy receive services with goals and objectives to meet their individual needs that improve their communication abilities.
